Part 1: The core story of Tale of the Forsaken Mage
He was bestowed with the blessings of his people. His was the pride and trust of his land. Dark flames were cast upon the innocent land in the tale of the forsaken. The life of the kingdom grew weary against the heat as the vegetation wilted away. Forests burned down.
Animals fled. Children and citizens stumbled until they collapsed upon each other. Their screams grew until an even more deafening scream emerged.
It was his scream. He doesnt remember why he was screaming, but he felt an instinctive impulse to sacrifice everything he had to defeat the invaders. An immense heat surrounded his body as flames covered his vision. All he could see was red.
Finally, his vision went out. He couldn’t recall anything else. The next thing he knew, he was slammed into a dungeon cell. His body ached like crazy. A sense of starvation accompanied his weak body. He lay against the cold, gray stone floor as he tried to regain his breath.
“You shall be banished!” the voices subjected me to their punishment. He tried to open his eyes but his eyelids fell heavily. A gulp in his throat formed as he tried to breathe the stale air. Sweat poured down his face and left a trail of droplets on the ground as the guards of the area dragged him away in the tale of the forsaken.
Exiting the building, he heard another voice as his eyes adjusted to the new array of light from the falling sunset. He looked up at the source of the voice. He didn’t seem that much older than me. He had pointy ears, long peach blonde hair that stretched across his back, and emerald green eyes with a penetrative stare. His green clothes were ragged and covered by a bronze breastplate.
Alongside him were three other figures with similar physical features. They all looked down at him with scorn. One of them turned their head from him. It looked as if tears were falling from her eyes. What did he do to cause this much sorrow? He couldn’t remember everything in full detail, but his mind raced as his eyes wandered from person to person.

Chapter 2 of Tale of the Forsaken Mage
Laying in the middle of a green, grassy field, Ares awoke upon the brilliant rays of the sun beaming directly at his eyes in the tale of the forsaken. The last couple of days felt like an eerie and incomplete dream compared to the recent series of events but they resonated strongly within him.
Quickly, the pain intensified; His head began to throb rapidly as he attempted to recall the events prior to his banishment of Aerodom.
“As a guardian of Aerodom, I, Vivian Aerota, demand you to stop!” she commanded through her clenched teeth. An expression of intolerance and impatience filled her face as her eyes stared blankly into the man’s soul.
“Your sole duty was to protect our land and its people, but instead you have committed a grave sin against Aerodom.” He recalled the words from the anonymous voices that had banished me. Clutching his head further in the agonizing pain, He tried to remember what had happened after the attack.
Chapter 3 of Tale of the Forsaken Mage
Walking through the multitude of trees, he noticed dozens of berries and fruits. The brilliant colors of red, staring at him, the curious creature slowly approached him in the tales of the forsaken. Showing no hostility or eagerness to steal the new mango, he laid down beside me. Feeling his hand gently run over the top of his head, he looked up at him.
“Well… I guess there’s nothing wrong with being hungry.” He offered the remaining portion of the fruit to him. As he ate from his hand, he looked further north to see how close the river was. It was closer now; He could hear the stream running in the distance.
He doesnt know what led him to this outcome, but whatever it was. He won’t let it happen again. He clutched his heart with one hand and balled his other fist. He won’t focus too much on the past, but He’ll make it his life mission to find out what happened that day. Feeling the touch of the monkey, He snapped back into reality.
