Part 1: Main Characters of Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire

Amelia

I don’t exactly know how to describe Amelia’s character in Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire. Do I call it “painfully exhausting’ or “terribly moving’?

Seriously, did her logic completely die? It’s one thing to promise such dangerous thing to your sister, especially knowing how much your parents hate your existence. Then, it’s another thing to actually fulfill such a promise.

I keep thinking, would it have been hard to just pretend like you knew nothing of your sister’s disappearance? All the consequential beatings could have been avoided.

Then, take another analysis of the fact that she was sent to the lion’s mouth; would it have been out of place to also run for her life like her sister and parents did?

The man didn’t even know that Jenner had a sister, so she would have been very safe.

Alright, how about it being Jenner’s name she answered when marrying the evil bastard, yet she believed she was married to the monster?

Amelia’s character is disconcerting, but I think the author is more puzzling.

Nevertheless, I still must state that the protagonist does mature a lot by the experiences she faces. While she doesn’t exactly seem like a complete idiot by the end, she’s able to stand firmly and persevere through pain and torture.

Her relationship with the terrible Dylan is also another concern. The two people are such polar opposites and while one was destruction, the other was quiet acceptance.

Dylan

A bastard with the most terrible temperament. This dude’s anger issues are beyond reason. Was it really a good reason to force yourself on the innocent girl? Yes, they switched the girl you were supposed to marry. Was it the fact that she wasn’t as pretty or maybe she was just a perfect scapegoat?

Part 2: Plot Summary of Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire

Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire follows Amelia who is kind enough to do a favor for her younger sister. This favor, however, would turn out to be the beginning of hell for Amelia.

What favor, you ask? Well, guess what, Amelia’s sister, Jenner, is engaged to be married to a very wealthy man who their family owes money. The marriage was a form of payment. However, Jenner was reluctant because she loved another man whom she said had told her he was richer and more capable. Jenner wanted to run away to avoid the marriage and she wanted her elder sister, Amelia, to inform their parents of her disappearance the next day.

Amelia agreed after seeing her sister’s distress. The next day, their parents found out about everything and were furious. They took it out on Amelia like always and sent her off in her sister’s place.

After a peculiar wedding, Amelia’s veil was finally removed by Dylan that night and his fury could not be contained. Jenner was nowhere to be found and Amelia’s parents also disappeared. Guess who suffers now.

Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire is just the dose of annoyance you need to kickstart your day. The author spares no effort is beautifying this complete and utter punch to the gut. Sure, you could say that it got better in time, however it was still one hell of a punch.

What do I mean? You only must see the first few chapters to understand. There’s nothing like the constant shocking emotions the characters keep expressing. Though partially questionable, it still has its appeal. For instance, you inclined to look at the characters from a wider point of view, but you suddenly want to see it from the eyes of the characters themselves.

Part 3: Analysis of Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire

I have very strong opinions about Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire. I must say that at certain points, the story felt very haphazard. Sometimes the pace would be fast enough to give one a headache and other times the cliches about masochism would abound so much that one can’t help but sigh.

Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire has a bunch of flaws, and it is so amazingly brutal in details. The scenes do not seem to be filtered in a way that would fit the mouths of the readers, allowing them to digest it without choking.

Yet, despite all these problems with Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire, one can’t help turning those pages. It is raw and jarring and a test of patience, but we all want to see what happens next. The emotions of the characters are definitely a bit of an eyebrow-raiser, but I’ll give it to the author – this is indeed a peculiar piece. No, I do not mean its plot. Not at all. Rather, the presentation is what is moving.

I practically feel my blood boil every time the main character does something stupid and not based on rational thinking. I want to punch the bastard who treats the woman like a toy. I wish to have a talk with the author because this is something serious.

The themes of the story are quite usual, but it seems that the unconventional characters and the peculiar lack of a more detailed backstory gives it the more interesting substance it needs. It is a piece you won’t regret reading, so maybe just try to stomach the rough start so you can enjoy the good parts.

Part 4: Awesome Chapter from Substitute Bride: Married to a Domineering Billionaire

Chapter Five

Amelia sat on the bed, crying her eyes out, when the door finally opened and Dylan came in, brimming with anger. He grabbed Amelia by the neck, choking her to death as he growled about her family’s deception. Amelia tapped on his hand, struggling to breathe.

She heard from Dylan that her parents fled the city, and Amelia felt the weight of this information. Dylan barely stopped himself from killing Amelia. He threw her onto the bed and when she called his name, he responded with a slap.

Dylan was angry and repulsed by Amelia for marrying him through deception. He promised to make her suffer for her decision. His first order of business was to fulfill his duty on their wedding night. He pulled Amelia to him and with a fearful yelp, she tried to free herself from his grasp. He told she was not that beautiful, but he would have her body. He warned her not to struggle or she would regret it.

Amelia begged but he pushed her onto the bed and got on top of her. She struggled and he slapped her, restating his warning once again. Amelia became silent and merely cried.

Dylan got off her and made her strip. Amelia felt exposed and thoroughly embarrassed. Dylan’s eyes roamed her body and he quickly undressed.

When Amelia felt his touch, she let out a small moan but mentally slapped herself immediately. She shouldn’t let herself feel any pleasure for this man.

Amelia couldn’t control her reactions, however. She wanted to hate what he was doing but instead seemed to enjoy it like nothing before.

When he put his face between her legs, Amelia wondered aloud what he was doing, but the man only smirked before proceeding.
