Emilia’s character is a mystery leaving the readers curious to know if she’s an ordinary werewolf or a unique kind of creature. As we follow Emilia’s journey we see her find her kind of creature called Banchee’s.

Ares Morningstar is the lycan King who sets out to investigate the blue moon pack when he suspects sexual trafficking is going on in the supernatural world. What Ares doesn’t suspect is to find his mate abused and thrown into a dungeon where she is held captive for five years.

Ares quickly saves her but their journey doesn’t get easier as Emilia gets kidnapped by unknown creatures.

Ares is protective of his mate but at the same time, he wants to find the kids thrown into the world of trafficking by the Blue Moon pack alpha. He carries his responsibility towards his pack and his mate making his character growth a remarkable one.

Ares and Emilia’s love story is filled with lots of ups and downs as they struggle to find people to trust and are thrown into the unknown world conspired by Alpha Fredrick. But this slow-burning romance gives all the feelings of love to readers who follow their journey.

This was my first read in The Morningstar Series and I’m hooked to read more about the Morningstar heroes and how they will win the hearts of their mates.

Sour Souls: The Morningstar Series Book 6 is followed by Sugar Blood which follows the journey of Axton Morningstar and Nadja and takes us to the world of Fae and Elfs.

Author KJ does a brilliant job of creating a world for fantasy lovers who enjoy the hot romances of Lycan kings and their unique mates.

Sour Souls: The Morningstar Series Book 6 is a must-read novel for all supernatural world lovers.
