Werewolf Romance: Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel

Raine had just been jumped by Rose. It was a pretty complicated entanglement between them. Raine had a mate called Elijah, who was not attracted to her but to Rose. He would rather that Rose was his mate, and this was what he had been telling Raine in a private corner when Rose sent people to attack Raine, thinking that Raine was trying to force herself on Elijah.
At the beginning of Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel, Raine was in the hospital when Rose and Elijah came to visit.

According to the book, Rose claimed to have come to see how Raine was faring after being jumped. As if she was not the one that sent people to jump and beat up Raine. After the visit, Rose left, and Elijah stayed back to state the actual reason he had come to pay Raine a visit. Elijah, being Raine’s mate had come to ask her to fall in love with someone else and forget about him.

Part 1: Major Characters Of Not Rejected Just Unwanted
Raine

The lead female character of the book, Raine was Not Rejected Just Unwanted. She had a fated mate who was attracted to another she-wolf, leaving Raine to wonder if she was desirable enough in the first place. Raine was from a dysfunctional family, and so she had her insecurities already, only for her fated mate to make her feel even more insecure.
Raine would later become the Luna of her pack after starting to date her Alpha’s son and prospective Alpha of her pack, Jonathon.
Elijah

Elijah was Raine’s, fated mate. Although he was her fated mate, he was not attracted to her, as there was a she-wolf that caught his eye. Elijah would have rejected Raine, but he did not, claiming that he did not want her to go through the pain of rejection.
However, Elijah also faced a form of rejection himself because as soon as the fated mate of the she-wolf he was attracted to showed up, she left Elijah and accepted her fated mate, and according to Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel, Elijah nursed feelings of accepting Raine back as his mate, but he must have been too late because Raine openly liked someone else and had moved on just as Elijah had advised her in the first place.

Chapter 2

From Jonathon’s point of view, he narrated what was happening at the hospital with Raine. Elijah had been pushed out of Raine’s ward when she suddenly started to have a crisis. When she-wolves were in heat, if they did not receive any form of intimacy, they would have a crisis where their entire body will be as though it was on fire.
Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel narrates that Raine was suffering such a reality until Jonathon started to kiss her, and she immediately started to feel better.
“‘Better?” Jonathon had asked Raine after kissing her for a while. Raine agreed. “‘Do you think that anyone will ever want me?” Raine asked.
After her mate had told her that he did not want her, she started to feel insecure. Being without a mate was dangerous, as already confirmed by what happened to Raine who was in a heat crisis because nobody was intimate with her. Little did she know that she was asking the question from the very person that wanted her the most in her pack, her perspective Alpha, Jonathon.

“‘My father is stepping down as Alpha after Christmas…and because you are my girlfriend, he is expecting you to take on the position of Luna…” Jonathon had informed Raine three weeks after they had just started dating.
In Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel, Raine was said to have been taken aback by this. Luna? I bet she had never thought that she would become Luna, but now, the prospects were high and looking very likely.
Jonathon told Raine not to bother about the commitment too much, and that they would get to talk to his father about it after Christmas, but what they did not know was that the lingering topic was a lot more urgent than they could have imagined. Jonathan’s father, the current Luna sent for them immediately, asking to discuss Raine being the Luna with them.
According to Not Rejected Just Unwanted Novel, Raine, and Jonathon never saw such a responsibility coming for Raine.
Part 3: Concise Story Line Of Not Rejected Just Unwanted

Raine was a she-wolf mated to Elijah, the prospective Beta of her pack. But there was a problem. Elijah was attracted to another she-wolf called Rose. As if having her mate attracted to someone else was not enough, the she-wolf that had stolen Raine’s mate always bullied her and as a result, had her beaten up and admitted to the hospital.
While Raine was in the hospital having the doctor attend to her beaten body, Elijah, Raines’s fated mate came to pay her a visit and inform her that she was Not Rejected Just Unwanted.
Elijah came to tell Raine that she should move on without him by finding another mate to fall in love with. Of course, it did not go down well with Raine as she would rather have her fated mate by her side, but she could not force him to be attracted to her, could she? Knowing fully about what could happen to a wolf that had been rejected by its mate.
Elijah thought it best not to outrightly reject Raine so that she does not suffer the pain of rejection, hence the title of the book Not Rejected Just Unwanted. Rejection was such a heavy pain to bear.
Raine suffered some pain, regardless of the fact that she was not rejected by her mate as she still craved intimacy. Raine was in heat, and when a she-wolf was in heat, she would be in pain until she was intimate with anyone.
Thank her stars that just anyone could be intimate with her to relieve the pain, and not her mate, if not she would have suffered more. Jonathon, prospective Alpha of the pack was by Raine, showering her with affection intimate enough to relieve her of her pain.
Part 4: Conclusion Of Not Rejected Just Unwanted

This book is different form from all the werewolf books I have read. The distinct emphasis on the pain of rejection is very relatable to everyday life as facing rejection is one of the worse and most painful things that can ever happen to anyone. Apart from that, the continuity of the novel is top-notch and has a great pace that would not leave readers bored.
The adventure was also used generously in Not Rejected Just Unwanted to portray vivid pictures that the author had tried to buttress while writing the book. This is a remarkable book with a hundred percent assurance to be worth every reader’s money spent on the book.
