Throughout the story, Kang Yu’s skills have leveled up more, he achieved greater skills than what he gained during his stay in hell.
Part 2: Hot Chapters from Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later
If you haven’t read the manga version or the novel Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, here is a glimpse and review of its hot chapters.
Chapter 1 – The Lord Of Nine Thousand Circles Of Hell
Of course, this chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later is an attention catcher. Here, the Master of Hell, and the Great Demon Lord is introduced. Kang Yu was described here well as how really powerful he is, how demons feared him, and how he was able to achieve such influence in hell.
One exciting part of this chapter is that even Pollock who has been feared by many demons had surrendered to him. But then the funny scene here is when Kang Yu told his demon kingdom that he wanted to return to the human world.
The Pollock asked him why he wanted to return when he was all here in hell, Kang Yu answered that he wants to eat Kimchi soup, but then the demons misinterpreted it as fresh blood and meat because the dish appears red.
And when Kang Yu was pissed for being not understood, he screamed harder, the more that the demons adored him for in their mind he wanted more blood and dish meat but now a massacre. I find that scene in chapter 1 of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later funny, and there are more funny scenes in the latter chapters.
Chapter 5- Unfamiliar Land With Familiar Land
At this point in Player Who Returned 100 Years Later, Kang Yu had to save Han Sol from an attack, and now she goes home with her which is a good thing because he’ll have a place to stay as at this time, he already had returned from hell.
The problem is when they got a check at the gate, Kang Yu’s player ID was old, or he had none that was up to date. So, using his illusion manipulation skill, he was able to get in. Kang Yu was expecting that Han Sol was living alone, only to be surprised to see that she was living with her mom in a shabby building.
Also in this chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, Kang Yu realized how he got into the black gates of hell before. But again the funny thing is, at last after starving for days, he was able to eat kimchi.
Chapter 22- Demon Followers
In this chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, Kang Yu was caught by a guild and was laid down on the altar for some ritual. Although he was not unconscious he pretended to be one, to know more about the demons who have got him.
While he was lying on the altar a Magi was split into his body but his devouring ability just absorbed the magi. Dok Hyun who was performing the ritual was wondering why Kang Yu was able to absorb all the powers without him getting hurt.
So, his demon followers’ effort of collecting the mana stones had gone to waste because Kang Yu had just absorbed them all. And the funny scene here in this chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, is just when Dok Hyun was shocked and confused about what’s going on with the mana stones, and the ritual didn’t give him the result he expected, Kang Yu had to get up and asked him to do one more ritual.

This chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later is an uprising. This is also an action-packed chapter. So, at this point in Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, Kang Yu and the other players faced an impossible enemy – the boss, who was strong contrary to what they all had expected.
And so, to defeat the boss, Kang Yu suggested an alliance with other players. He suggested they would team up to defeat the boss. His proposal seemed fair and beneficial to all players, and so they agreed.
Also, in this chapter of Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later, we get to see Kang Yu use one power he never got to use ever since – the power of observation. The exposition of such power in this chapter was amazing.
Chapter 29- You Even Added Ramen
This chapter Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later is more on light scenes. The romantic tension between Kang Yu and Han Sol here is evident.
People around them assumed that they were dating because they appeared to be, but the funny scene here is when Kang Yu said to Han Sol to add ramen to kimchi, Han sol didn’t understand that he received a cold response after. Yet, without Han Sol knowing, it’s a Korean idiom suggesting intimacy in a relationship.
It’s entertaining how food is being inserted in the scenes despite the badass feels of this novel, Player Who Returned 1000 Years Later.
Such scenes make the plot unique and funny. It also makes Kang Yu’s character soft and funny, imagine how funny it seems for a great demon lord who craves kimchi that’s why he left hell, and that turning point made him the Player Who Returned After 100 Years.
