Part 1: The Mind-Twisting Chapters Of The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Novel
Chapter 1
Melanie’s early bumping into Viola Shaw in The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Chapter 1 isn’t about the former woman’s clumsiness. Viola, the new secretary intern in Melanie’s office, projects a childlike innocence through her soft voice. No wonder, Eugene gives Viola things he never gives to Melanie.
Buying drinks and inviting this new-yet-suspicious secretary intern to the exclusive party are some of the kind gestures Eugene does for Viola. The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Chapter 1 also shows Eugene’s demands for Melanie to treat Viola gently. At this point, it seems that Eugene has an eye for this beautiful little lady and starts forgetting Melanie.
Chapter 226
Viola’s constant play-innocent games annoy Melanie to the core. The soon-to-be former secretary has hit her limit in The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Chapter 226. There’s no way a grown-up like Viola would ever know anything about how to create numbers and sheets in the company. Yet, that’s where Melanie feels Viola has become a thorn inside her flesh.
Viola’s acts of following Melanie around to overshadow her in The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Chapter 226 are fishy enough. The once-innocent-looking girl gradually shows her true face while her beloved Mr. Scott is not watching.

The man whom the novel’s author refers to as “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” is Eugene Scott, the current CEO of LeadCo. He is married to Melanie Smith, one of his secretaries. It results in all employees in the office understanding Eugene and Melanie’s relationships are not only limited to their professional titles.
Some employees even predict Melanie will be the next lady boss for LeadCo due to her obedience to Eugene and her intelligence in executing his work. Even though Eugene almost always refuses to accompany her, Melanie still attends the meetings.
Eugene has also expressed his dislike for being touched, and he never gives Melanie anything precious. Then, again, Melanie endures herself in the relationship. Melanie’s patience for Eugene hits the limit the first time when she “accidentally” bumps into Viola Shaw, the new secretary intern at LeadCo.
Viola of The Unfaithful Mr. Scott might display a child-like innocence through her physique and voice. Her lack of knowledge of things secretaries have to do also amplifies her innocence even more. Yet, Melanie smells many fishy things about this new intern.
First, Viola has only worked for a couple of days in LeadCo. Yet, Eugene a.k.a. “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” has appointed her to work in the President’s Office, while he used to tie Melanie on the same desk while she was still his secretary. Eugene even invites Viola to events that he usually orders Melanie to “attend it yourself”.
Second, Viola’s consistent acts as Eugene’s messenger are lies. After all, she knows what to say to cause angry reactions to Melanie. For instance, she consistently brags about her relationship with Eugene. With her soft, timid, mosquito-like voice, Eugene and even Melanie won’t be able to get mad at her.
Melanie has smelled “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” vibe in her husband. Now, it is just a matter of time until she figures out Viola’s mask’s reveal.
Melanie knows the relationship between Eugene and Viola is more than a boss to his new secretary. After all, “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” has demanded her to be nice to Viola and not harm her. As the story progresses, can Melanie reveal these two people’s true nature? Will Eugene ever realize his position as “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” and return to Melanie?

Part 3: Some Analysis Of The Unfaithful Mr. Scott Novel
“No adults are ever innocent,” that’s one of the saddening but real things I get from reading The Unfaithful Mr. Scott. No matter how softie or timid Viola appears as a new secretary intern, no way she wouldn’t know anything at all. It’s either she doesn’t know what to do as a secretary, or she plays innocent to get to Melanie’s nerve.
I feel Viola has already positioned Melanie as the bully since Chapter 2 of The Unfaithful Mr. Scott. Viola knows any supervisor will get annoyed when she doesn’t know how to work according to her job description. Yet, she should also know Lisa, one of the former secretaries, was fired for scolding her about jobs.
One of the things Viola constantly does is to inform Melanie about everything kind Eugene has done to this new secretary intern. I thought, that if Viola acted as Eugene’s messenger, that would make her mask as a know-nothing intern fail, for being a messenger is one of the secretary’s jobs (and she does it well). Also, if she were to act based on Eugene’s commands, she would inform all news about Eugene, and not just the potentially hurtful ones.
I relate to Melanie’s confusion in witnessing Viola’s acts. She tries to attack Viola because she knows what this thorn inside a human’s flesh is capable of doing. Yet, the thoughts of Eugene’s constant threats of treating Viola nicely with “or else” conditions, linger over Melanie’s head.
Eugene’s siding with Viola accentuates “The Unfaithful Mr. Scott” vibe in him. He could have considered Viola only for her beauty and the innocent vibe she gives. I guess, Eugene is an easy-to-fool man, which attracts him to a woman like Viola.
Part 4: An Alternative Novel To The Unfaithful Mr. Scott
Viola’s stage plays through the chapters in The Unfaithful Mr. Scott are fantastic that Melanie can’t do anything, and Eugene would never want to hurt her. At first, Eugene’s kindness and love for Viola seem to have things to do with Viola’s innocent displays. Melanie must have thought Viola was an innocent and pure girl; that’s why Eugene demands that Melanie be kind to Viola.
So, what if the alternate novel portrayed Viola, the play-innocent man-stealer, as the MC with her guy? What if Viola, as the female MC, had authentic intentions and was a true pure-hearted soul?
